IGLU Student Accommodation– Albert Avenue, Chatswood
IGLU Chatswood is located on Sydney’s North Shore, and ideally situated only 100 metres from Chatswood Station – meaning Macquarie University campus & the Sydney Institute of Business & Technology are just an 11 minute train trip away.
The roof top terrace at IGLU is designed to provide a relaxing escape for students without the need to leave the building. The customised ‘wave’ seating design was adapted by Mint to work with-in the unique constrictions on site – combining the best materials with innovative design and quality craftsmanship.
Internally, the reception and common areas of IGLU need to create a welcoming feel that is durable and easy to maintain. The Blackbutt decking and flooring used is both sustainable and durable. When used in conjunction with the latest in water based coating technology and sustainably sourced Australian pine and hardwood framing, areas that are aesthetically pleasing, environmentally responsible and user friendly have been created.
