Located in an almost hidden corner under an unsuspecting office building on O’Connell Street is the latest trendy new restaurant to hit Sydney. Bowery Lane brings an authentic chic Manhattan style dining experience to the comfort of downtown Sydney.
Bowery Lane is a refined rustic dining experience recalling the end of the 18th century featuring wholesome food crafted from farm-fresh local and seasonal ingredients. No matter whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner, diners have fallen in love with some of Bowery Lane’s signature dishes, including the rock lobster sliders, pork collar and scratchings with apple, parsley and fennel salad and spiced pear chutney, and the New York cheeseburger.
The deep brown Oak floorboards by Mint Floors & Shutters, as well as the exposed brick walls and raw concrete combine to give the cafe a special vibe. While black leather banquettes, art deco features and an 18-seat communal table highlight Sydney’s love of shared spaces. The classy restaurant interior is well designed and the seating arrangements should be able to suit a small to medium sized groups quite easily.
